Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in time starts at 3:00pm and checkout is by 10:00am or sooner unless discussed prior. Early arrivals / late departures may incur additional charges. All windows and doors must be shut and locked upon check-out.

Quiet Hours:
Guests acknowledge and understand that quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am. We ask that you refrain from loud conversations or music during these times. We are a family establishment and appreciate your cooperation.

Reservations:

Reservations require a 50% deposit by credit card, cash, or check. Our receipt of this agreed contract and payment acknowledges your booking and any remaining balances (if any) and incidental charges will be due at departure or sooner. The returned check fee is $35.00. Bayside Cabins & Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

This Cabin Rental Agreement is a legal binding agreement between Guests and Bayside Cabins & Resort. Your reservation binds you to a specific period of time. We know that plans can go astray, however we rely on advance reservations and cancellations cannot always be filled. A Cancellation fee of 10% will be charged for all cancellations made after 48 hours of payment. Please make all cancellations 7 days prior to arrival. All cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are subject to withholding at the discretion of Bayside Cabins & Resort.

No Refunds: 

No refunds are provided for no-shows, change of plans, early departures, encountering insects or wildlife, malfunctioning equipment, illegal drug usage, excessive speeding, underage drinking, disruptive behavior, injury to others, or due to inclement weather. If you are asked by management or a Sheriff to leave early, no refund will be granted. All guests are financially responsible for the entire booking once your reservation has been made.

Guest Responsibility: 

The rental property shall be used as a personal vacation residence. Only persons listed as guests and their children shall occupy the rental property overnight. Please bring bathing products, charcoal, and food. Guests agree to be billed for any charges they incur while renting the property, to include but not limited to any charges due to damages, missing contents, repairs, indoor smoking, or additional cleaning fees.

RV’s, Campers, Tents: 

RV’s, campers, and tents can only be assigned in designated sites per health department regulation. Any plans to use these must be approved before your stay, and will not be allowed unless previously approved.

No Smoking

Guests acknowledge and understand that all parts of the cabin are non-smoking. Guests agree to pay an odor abatement fee of $250.00 if they smoke in the cabins. Smoking is always allowed outside. Cigarette butts shall be disposed of properly and safely in a cigarette butt receptacle provided at each cabin on the resort. Do not throw or place cigarettes, cigars or ashes on the ground, in the lake, or on the pavement. There are smoke detectors in all of our cabins, do not unplug or remove the batteries.

Resort Responsibility:

Guests acknowledge and understand that Bayside Cabins & Resort cannot guarantee against mechanical failures and to please report any problems or damages to your cabin on the day of your check-in. If not reported, we must assume the damage or loss occurred during your occupancy and you will be charged. When a maintenance need arises during your stay please contact Bayside Cabins & Resort. Bayside Cabins & Resort reserves the right to enter any property to investigate any damages or repairs deemed necessary, to make every effort to correct any problem, and will attempt to notify guests when service/repair is to take place. All cabins are provided with basic amenities for your stay, one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. Please bring your own bathing products, charcoal, and food. 

Damage to Property:

Properties are to be left in orderly, undamaged condition. Additional charges will be assessed to cover repairs to structures, furnishings, and excessive cleaning needs. Owners are not responsible for any items lost, left behind, or damaged in a cabin or on any part of Bayside Cabins & Resort property. Bayside Cabins & Resort will make every effort to return property found (at their owner’s expense). 

Grills, Fire pits, Fireplaces:

Gas fireplaces are for burning natural gas only. Please do not put anything in fireplaces. Grills are provided at all cabins, guests must bring their own charcoal and fluid. Guests agree to put used charcoal and ashes in the supplied ash bucket. Do not dump charcoal or ashes on the ground, pavement, in the lake, or in the garbage no matter how old or cold they appear. A personal fire pit is located next to each cabin. We enforce all local burn bans.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless:

The property is privately owned. The guest accepts renting privileges with the understanding it releases, indemnify, and hold harmless Bayside Cabins & Resort, its officers, and employees of all liability for loss, damage to property and injury of any member of family, guest of registered renters arising out of the use of the resort facilities, recreational activities, and personal property therein. Guests assume the risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities within the property limits of Bayside Cabins & Resort.
